Smoothbeam Laser Treatments
The Smoothbeam Laser is the "latest and greatest" treatment for acne, acne scarring and facial wrinkles that is available today. It works on acne by emitting a beam of light that alters the sebaceous glands under the skin surface. These glands produce the oil that feeds the bacteria that causes the acne blemish. This beam of laser light alters these glands by decreasing the amount of oil they produce. This is done without drying out the skin with topical medications or killing the bacteria with oral antibiotics or even drying up the oil production temporarily (Accutane).
